Just wanted to let everyone know that I got negative comments about my kitty plush on the site, enough so that it is no longer up for order. Patch Togther and I will have to start over, so unfortunately, there will be no plush for sale at my senior thesis show.
Here's the link if you want to read the comments about my plush that caused it to freeze production, if you are curious or want to leave feedback.

Such a shame that it had to be held back like it did; I really want one! :[ I'm a little new to Patch Together, but from what I gather, people were complaining not nessicarily about your design, but more on the company's replication of your design: the first person who complained said they though the design of the prototype did not do your original blueprints of Painter Kitty any justice, and frankly I agree. :[

I looked at all the photos of PT's prototype, especially the comparison version that Kelly provided, and it looks like they didn't try as hard to make the shapes/parts in the fabric match the shapes in your pictures; I have browsed their site a few times before joining, and PT does some amazing plushies! Some to the point where they look exactly like the pictures, and some of those picture designs from other people are no more complicated/similar then yours. So I would not go as far to say that the folks on PT were complaining about you, they were complaining because it looks like PT didn't do that great a job on your design, and it kinda shows from the pictures (ie, the winds look really weird, they didn't use the right color fabric for Kitty's body, the eyes sizes don't match as well, ect). And I myself have made plushies as well, so I am aware that there are certain obsticals when creating a 3D match of a picture, but there are many techniques of getting over those obsticals.

Did PT get your approval of their prototype if/when they sent it to you, or was this transaction done in a different way without your consultation? I'm just curious (hope I'm not being too nosey!) And I do love your Painter Kitty design. :]
